As is so often the case at the moment the bulk of the work we do results in photos which are only any good as a reference and make no impact for publicity purposes. This week has provided a bit of a better opportunity.

The loco was shunted under the hoist at Barrow Hill so that we could mount (albeit temporarily) the radiator fan housing.

It's seen here nosing out of the roundhouse as the housing is being positioned at the other end of the loco. The sheet is covering the grilles - dust from other activities finds it's way everywhere...
