Something a bit different this week, the video clip demonstrates the enormity of the work undertaken by the project to get this far. We started the project in earnest in 2011 so it's been nearly 15 years in the making, who knows how long it will actually take to finish it? Don't ask, we won't tell you.....
The reason that the loco was on the turntable was to put it back on 'its' road after a couple of weeks under the hoist. We've finally got the three roofs to fit something like and finished adding the rain strips to them. This roof (to cover the area where the boiler would have been) is one of the few remaining bits from the donor loco, albeit much smaller now....
