Since the installation of the power unit last month work has focussed on readying the loco for its annual stay outside in the weather because of the Beer Festival at Barrow Hill. The images below show the work undertaken on the loco this week.

    All four corners have had the new platework temporarily added for weather protection, this is the panel prior to painting.

    Each panel receives two coats of primer and then a dark grey undercoat.
