These are hard times - the news is full of stories of hardship, cost of living increases, cuts and financial challenges. It is often the case that, however difficult life is it could easily be worse. At a time when plenty of people are struggling we would not ask you to support us financially.
At this time of year though, we would urge you - if you can afford it and if you feel comfortable doing it - to support a charity which helps others in need. If you'd like to do this we'd ask that you support the P3 Charity which is Derbyshire based and helps the homeless and others in need.

Work this week has seen the bogie footsteps fully welded, NDT carried out and painted in primer.
Two of the five grille assemblies have been fully welded too but no-one took a photo of them.....
This time last year the loco had no fuel tanks, no (dummy) water tank, the nose ends were blank shells and there were no windows - we think we've done OK and we thank your for your kind words of support, all of which are much appreciated.
